Behaviour

The Behaviour feature in Ilmiya helps teachers recognize, track, and encourage positive classroom conduct. It highlights good behaviors — such as being respectful, helping others, staying focused, and showing responsibility — while also allowing teachers to note areas that need improvement.

Each behavior entry is assigned points, which contribute to a student’s overall performance analytics, making conduct a measurable part of their growth alongside academic performance.

Each behavior entry includes a three-dot menu (⋮) that allows teachers to:

  • View details of the behavior tag
  • Edit the entry (such as correcting descriptions or dates)
  • Delete behavior entries when necessary

These options ensure that behavior data remains accurate and easy to manage.

  1. Click the ”+” button in the Behaviour tab.
  2. A form will open for adding a new behavior entry.
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • Name — e.g., “Respectful”, “Teamwork”, “Masha Allah”
    • Type — Choose Positive (👍) or Negative (👎)
    • Points — Select the value (e.g., +1 to +7)
  4. Click Create to save.

The reward is now added and will appear in the student’s record and analytics.

  • Encourages positive habits like kindness, cooperation, and responsibility
  • Supports a healthy, respectful, and motivating classroom environment
  • Helps track behavior trends over time
  • Provides teachers with meaningful data on student conduct — not just academic performance

The Behaviour feature makes student character development measurable and encourages a balanced focus on both academics and classroom values.
